Wellvana refreshes C-suite, moved Holt to CMO

Martin Ventures-backed physician network startup Wellvana Health has refreshed its C-suite, which includes rotating CEO Worthe Holt to serve as chief medical officer and bringing in three outside executives. Former Anthem executive Jay Meyers takes over as chief executive less than a year after Holt’s original appointment. Sunil Cardozo has also been named chief operations and information officer and Readus Smith will serve as chief managed care officer. Meyers comes to Wellvana after more than two years as the chief development and marketing officer for Anthem’s Diversified Business Group where he oversaw a $5 billion portfolio. Prior to Anthem, he served in various leadership positions at Innovista Health Solutions, The Advisory Board Company and Care Team Connect, all Chicago-based companies.
