Well, this is the first time I’ve covered ROH live. Fun fact, ROH was the first ever indie show that I saw, back in 2004 as part of WrestleMania weekend. If you’ve got a copy of “At Our Best” on DVD, you’ll likely see me standing by the aisle, like for the whole show…
Full disclosure, since ROH returned with the Pure title tournament, I’ve not been keeping up with my ROH television watching… but I know this show wasn’t “as planned”, as EC3, Bandido, Flamita, and Kenny King all had to drop out of the show with issues surrounding ROH’s Covid protocols. That meant that the Jay Briscoe/EC3 match dropped off the card entirely, while Flamita and Bandido were set to team up with Rey Horus to defend their trios titles against Shane Taylor and his Soldiers of Savagery (Moses & Kaun).

Hey there everyone, it’s another Friday and that means another episode of WWE Smackdown. I’m Robert Winfree, relaying all of the comings and goings for you. Tonight is the go home show for the TLC PPV event so expect some strong work on a few fronts. Most notably the upcoming TLC match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns for Roman’s Universal title, this feud has had a darn near criminally short build but both men worked their butts off to try and get it over. The Street Profits will defend their titles against Ziggler and Roode tonight, not sure if they’ll have a funny finish to run it back at the PPV or if none of those guys are going to get the PPV paycheck. Carmella technically beat Women’s champion Sahsa Banks last week (so you know, no need to pay for the rematch) but it was only via DQ and we’ll probably get some kind of stipulation added to the match tonight. Hey there everyone, Winfree tagging in for this weeks episode of Impact Wrestling. It’s been a while since I’ve been here in the Impact Zone, hopefully I’m not too rusty. The ongoing cooperative relationship between AEW and Impact continues tonight, plus we’re on the heels of Impact’s Final Resolution event when Sami Callihan continued his feud with Eddie Edwards, Hernandez got gypped on payment for taking out Fallah Bahh, and Rich Swann defended the TNA World Title.
