To make the front fascia look a tad more aggressive, Honda is offering a new front skirt. Mirror covers are available, but the most significant upgrade is a new rear wing that gives the hatchback a much sportier appearance. To spruce up the interior, Honda can add illumination to the center console and cupholders, illuminated Civic badges for the door sills, and projector lamps that emit a Civic logo on the ground when the driver door is open.
For now, Honda s new accessories for the 2022 Civic Hatchback are only in Japan, but we would be surprised if they don t become available in America since Honda offered a range of accessories for the last-generation Civic Hatchback in the US.

The new Honda hatch builds on the all-new 11th-gen Civic revealed earlier this year, with an exterior design inspired by European sportbacks that gives it a little more of a coupe-ish, some might say less hatchback-ish, look. Honda also smoothed the lines overall by changing the hatch structure to reduce the hinge size this latter change also allows the rear door to open even wider (40 millimetres wider), which in turn allows all those young and active drivers to cram even more young and active stuff in.
It’s clearly a Civic, but there are enough cues to distinguish it from the sedan, including the honeycomb-style grille, which is a dead giveaway from the front angle. The car will be available with two new paint options including Boost Blue Pearl and Smoky Mauve Pearl.

Revealed during a digital DJ set, the car is aimed squarely at the young and active, but who doesn’t appreciate a fun little car with a supremely useful rear end?
