House Democrats advance measure to strip Marjorie Taylor Greene from committees By Melissa Quinn House GOP uniting amid public rifts
Washington House Democrats are moving forward on a resolution to strip freshman GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia of her committee assignments due to her embrace of conspiracy theories and apparent support for violence against Democrats before she was a member of Congress.
The House Rules Committee voted to advance the resolution on Wednesday, paving the way for a final vote in the full House on Thursday. The measure, put forth by Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, calls for Greene to be removed from the House Budget Committee and the Education and Labor Committee in light of conduct she has exhibited.
As you are all probably all aware, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is nucking futs.
Her various conspiracy theories – including the one where she alleged the 2018 California wildfires were caused by Jewish space lasers(!) – have been roundly condemned by Jews and non-Jews alike.
But that’s not good enough for fellow antisemite Linda Sarsour, who saw Green’s antisemitism as an opportunity to somehow vindicate her buddies Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib of
their antisemitic statements.
But she didn’t stop there. She then had the chutzpah to claim that those who have criticized the antisemitism of the Left have been silent on Greene.

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene made her “debut” on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, in a skit with Kate McKinnon and Cecily Strong. Strong, playing Greene, joined McKinnon for a talk show called “What Still Works?”
McKinnon kicked it off asking, “It’s a new year and we have a new president so some things should work, but do they?”
McKinnon introduced her guest and listed off some of the conspiracy theories Greene has pushed, including that the Parkland school shooting was a “false flag” operation, that 9/11 did not happen and that Jewish space lasers are starting forest fires.
