Court keeps Kentucky governor s COVID-19 orders in place | State

“They should remain in full force and effect until the entry of a final judgment or until after notice and a hearing on any motion to terminate any such specific executive action,” Shepherd said.  The judge did deny Beshear’s request to block House Bill 192, the state budget bill. Lawmakers inserted a provision that keeps the governor from spending American Rescue Plan funding without legislative authorization.  Beshear went to court after the legislature voted to override his vetoes on House Bill 1, Senate Bill 1 and Senate Bill 2. Mitch McConnell rips corporations on Georgia law disinformation

Titled the For the People Act, the bill would radically change the way Americans vote. It grants statehood to the District of Columbia and institutes automatic voter registration, including for felons, and requires nationwide vote-by-mail. The bill also expands federal review for state election laws.
