Cowardice. Lies. Cult. Tyranny. Sadly, these words do describe every current member of Oklahoma’s delegation.
The stark failure of Oklahoma’s delegation to put country before self was brought sharply into focus by the strength of character shown by Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming.
Cheney put courage, truth, country and democracy before her personal interests. Even when threatened with removal from her Republican leadership position and the possible loss of her seat in the House of Representatives, Cheney did not waiver.

McCarthy rams through Cheney removal
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called his conference to order May 12, ignored five members who reportedly requested a closed, written vote, called for a voice-only vote – which avoids a public count of yeas and nays – and gaveled removal of Rep. Liz Cheney from her leadership role in the House Republican Conference.
This “cowardly lion” thus avoids dissent and revealing the unraveling of party leadership and erosion of allegiance to Donald Trump. How sad.
