Former President Donald Trump’s website has been permanently shut down after only being active for about a month. At this moment, it only exists to allow users to provide their email addresses and phone numbers to receive updates from Trump’s team.
This is not a case of Trump being stifled by Big Tech, however. Trump senior aide Jason Miller told The Hill that the former president’s blog will not be relaunched and referred to it as “auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on.”
Last month, Trump published the blog, which was called “From the Desk of Donald Trump.” Since Big Tech silenced him due to false claims that he incited the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building, he had been using the site to communicate with his audience.
