If you re a particularly impatient sort and simply can t quell your hunger for
all the Resident Evil Village news ahead of its launch next month, Capcom has you covered with a spoiler-filled peek at the game s sprawling, countryside-spanning map.
To be fair, when I mean map, I mean
map. As shared by IGN, this isn t a top-down, in-game snapshot of Village s polygonal geometry; rather it s a slightly more abstract cartographical interpretation, all inky lines on faded parchment, so we re not in complete spoiler territory.
Lean in close and you ll get a glimpse of Village s four main areas, alongside a number of key landmarks. Three paragraphs in, I m going to assume you re not that fussed about spoilers, so these are Castle Dimitresu itself (last see in the PlayStation 5-exclusive demo), Heisenberg s Factory, House Beneviento, and Moreau s Reservoir.

While Capcom had previously announced a new Resident Evil Showcase set to take place this month, details were scarce at the time, but not any longer. This morning, the company revealed that the new digital event will take place on April 15th at 6PM ET/3PM PT. Given that the upcoming
Resident Evil Village is set to release less than a month later, it seems fair to assume that a whole bunch of new information will be shared about the latest and greatest Resident Evil title.

Capcom today set a date for the next Resident Evil Showcase, featuring the hotly anticipated Resident Evil Village.
Confirmed back in March, the next Resident Evil Showcase will officially take place April 15 at 3pm PT. The showcase will include a new trailer and gameplay from Resident Evil Village, whose release date is quickly approaching. The team is also promising some surprises.

Resident Evil Village to Get a New Trailer and Gameplay Footage in Upcoming Showcase
It s kind of crept up on us, but Resident Evil Village is now only a month away. Releasing on 7th May for PlayStation 5 and PS4, the latest main entry in the survival horror series is very nearly here. Still, we ve not seen all that much of it, save for a giant woman that has the gaming hivemind swooning. Let s not get sidetracked, though the point is, a new Resident Evil Showcase is on the way.
Next week, Capcom will be showing off a new trailer and gameplay for the hotly anticipated game, along with a few other surprises . You can see glimpses of the new Village trailer in the above teaser, and Lady Dimitrescu is of course present and correct. Any other news or announcements will come as a bonus, so we re looking forward to watching. The Resi Showcase will take place on 15th April at 3pm PDT / 11pm BST.
