BENGALURU: While the entire nation seems to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, news of 103 people from an apartment in Bommanahalli in Bengaluru tested COVID-19 positive makes everyone in a worrisome situation.
According to reports, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner N Manjunath Prasad confirmed that 103 people out of 1,052 residents of the apartment tested positive after a recent party in the apartment complex. We have tested 1,052 residents of the apartment; one person is admitted in the hospital and others are in quarantine. A total of 103 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from an apartment complex in Bommanahalli area of Bengaluru after a recent party, reported
The Indian Express on Tuesday. The civic body said a party was organised on February 4 in an apartment building in the neighbourhood.
“We have tested 1,052 residents of the apartment; one person is admitted in the hospital and others are in quarantine,” Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Commissioner N Manjunath Prasad told the newspaper. “The BBMP had put in place various measures, including isolating and quarantining those who had tested positive and we have intensified contact tracing.”
In a Bengaluru suburb as many as 103 residents, mostly aged above 60, of an apartment have tested positive for coronavirus after attending a social gathering in their complex.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police has increased patrolling after reports of thieves stealing pricey side rearview mirrors of the vehicles have come up in the national capital.
The theft of the rearview mirrors of high-end cars like Audi, Jaguar in places like Lajpat Nagar and Greater Kailash in Delhi has also been recorded in the CCTV cameras.
