Trump: Biden Is ‘Destroying’ Our Country With ‘Failed Border Policies’
Former President Donald Trump on Saturday accused Joe Biden of “destroying” the United States with his administration’s “failed border policies,” in a wide-ranging interview that also saw him criticize the president for his handling of issues in the Middle East and China.
“If he would have done nothing, we would have had right now the strongest border in history,” Trump said in an interview with Dick Morris on Newsmax’s “Dick Morris Democracy.” “All he had to do is nothing.”
Since assuming office on Jan. 20, President Joe Biden’s has rescinded a number of his predecessor’s immigration and border policies.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) The southern border has seen a surge in migrants seeking asylum already this year and humanitarian groups say shelters in Tijuana are beyond capacity as many families wait to try and enter the United States.
For dozens of these undocumented migrants, desperation led to the worst-case scenario on Sunday morning. Authorities said a boat carrying more than 30 people capsized off the coast of Point Loma, killing three. Officials believed this was a botched human smuggling operation.
Texas AG: More Lawsuits Coming to Biden Administration Over Border Crisis
MISSION, Texas Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he is teeing up more lawsuits against the Biden administration for not enforcing immigration law.
With five lawsuits already filed, Paxton said he hopes to force the administration to follow the laws Congress has in place.
“There’s a reason that we’ve sued the Biden administration five times over immigration tremendous harm is being done to this state, tremendous harm is being done to this nation,” Paxton said during a press conference at the U.S.–Mexico border on April 28. “We’re going to do our best to force the federal government to follow the very laws that they passed.”
MS-13 Gang Member Arrested Crossing Illegally at US Southern Border
An active member of the street gang MS-13 was arrested early Monday morning crossing illegally into the United States with a group of illegal immigrants in Arizona, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) said.

Agents determined that Payes-Mejia is part of the dangerous street gang with previous removals from the United States. Record checks found that Payes-Mejia has several felony convictions, had served time in prison, and has an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
