SRINAGAR: In order to help the 1947 Displaced Persons (DP), settled outside Jammu and Kashmir, in getting the Domicile Certificates, the Jammu and Kashmir government has made three lists public.

The lists published on the website of Relief and Rehabilitation (M) has listed 1882 individuals – currently living in Delhi, NCR region; 2285 individuals presently living in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and 1353 individuals who are currently living in Utter Pradesh and Uttrakhand states. These listed persons had migrated to the existing Jammu and Kashmir territory in 1947 from various others parts of the erstwhile state now on the other side of the Line of Control.
