India registers more than 43,000 new coronavirus cases; 955 deaths in 24 hours

The active cases continue to decline as India on Sunday recorded 955 deaths and added 43,071 new cases of COVID-19 in past 24 hours, the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said.
The recoveries outnumber the new cases. In the last 24 hours, the country witnessed the recoveries were 52,299.

The receding trend of fresh cases continued the stadiums, sports complexes allowed to open in Delhi with no spectators.
With this, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has reached 30,545,433, and the recovery rate in the country has reached 97.09 per cent.

New Delhi, July 3 : India on Saturday recorded 738 deaths, lowest since April 8 and added 44,111 new cases of Covid in past 24 hours, less than Friday, the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said.
On April 8, India recorded 780 deaths due to Covid.
India on Friday crossed four lakh deaths due to Covid. With six lakh deaths, the US is at the top of the list followed by Brazil with 5.2 lakh deaths due to the coronavirus.
The first death due to Covid-19 in the country was reported last year in March. On May 23, 2021, the country witnessed highest fatalities with 4,454 deaths in 24 hours.
