WHEN York nurse Dawn Bilbrough got into her car in March this year, she broke down.
On the way home from her fourth gruelling 12-hour shift in a row on the critical care wards in the middle of the pandemic, she’d expected to be able to pick up some fresh fruit and veg to feed her family. Christmas is just around the corner and what parents want is to keep their nosy kids from unwrapping their presents before the day arrives. However, having limited space at home hinders them from keeping the gifts away from the eyes of their little ones.
Sadie Griffiths, a mom-of-three, shared to the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook page how they secretly hide the presents from their toddlers. Her husband, Brett, gave her the idea to put their children s gifts inside suitcases.
The best part is that suitcases have locks so the little ones would surely not be able to touch any of the presents inside. The post has garnered 29K interactions and over four thousand comments within the day it was posted.
