Police seek missing teenager from Port Elizabeth

The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit in Port Elizabeth is seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 13-year-old Missionvale teenager and the person she allegedly left within December 2020. It is alleged that on 12 December 2020 at about 10:00 Sinovuyo Zilani from Alloes Valley in Missionvale left with her neighbour Vuyiseka Nqonqo Joni (40) and Joni’s son in a green vehicle (make and model unknown). According to information received at the time, it was alleged that they were going to Cleary Park shopping centre however Joni left the house with bags of clothing. They have since not returned.

The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Motherwell is seeking the communities’ assistance in tracing a 13-year-old teenager who went missing on Saturday, 16 January 2021. According to police information, Zenathi Bekela left her house at about 14:00 on the mentioned date in Luwela Street, Soweto-on-Sea. She informed her aunt that she was going to visit a friend close by and never returned. Her mother reported her missing on Monday, 18 January 2021. She was last wearing a grey top, black jeans and pink sandals. She has braided hair. Anyone who can assist police in tracing Ms Bekela or may know of her whereabouts is asked to contact D/Sgt Jerome Jacobs on 071 475 2324 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
