First Community Bank in Batesville today announced the hiring of Gene Crawford as senior vice president, director of non-interest services. With nearly forty years of lending experience, he will be responsible for overseeing the management of First Community Bank’s mortgage and trust departments, as well as, Community Insurance Professionals and First Community Financial Services. “I am excited to become a member of the First Community Bank team. Organizations Gather to Support Victims of Crime

The US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma hosted a “Day of Hope” Friday at Tulsa’s Promenade Mall. The purpose was to pass safety and victim resources to the public. One organization in attendance was Coffee Bunker, a nonprofit advocating for veterans. Coffee Bunker Chaplain Greg Bilbruck said for him the event was about solidarity. “We’re out here with the United States Attorney’s Office, the Sherriff’s Office, Muscogee Creek Nation. We’re here just to support victims and try to get justice for them,” said Bilbruck.   Veterans involved in the criminal justice system may be at a higher risk for suicide. Sexual assault is also an ongoing problem.

Gov. John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to several Louisiana boards and commissions.   Louisiana State Arts Council The Louisiana State Arts Council receives applications for matching federal funds available from the National Endowment for the Arts and such other funds made available to the council and make recommendations thereon. The Council reviews and approves or rejects said grant applications from other governmental units, community arts councils, and other private, nonprofit, and tax-exempt groups. Additionally, the Council advises departmental officers on the design and execution of an annual state plan consistent with the goals and policies of the department as provided by federal and state law, rules, and regulations, and submits the plan to the National Endowment for the Arts.

Her comments were raw and powerful, but the publication decided not to publish much of what she said. Her brother-in-law Luke Forte has provided the Sunday Mail with her piece. In 2016, I performed a secondment in the role of a DV Project Officer at Toowoomba Station. Without any specific job description for this DV role … it was decided that I would concentrate solely on high risk (HR). I applied for this role because I always had a vested interest in investigating DV s and knew that HR respondents posed a significant risk to the community.
