Sign Up NHS Grampian has set up an incident management team (IMT) after a small number of unusual infections were detected at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH). The health board said due to the small number of patients involved, and the unusual nature of the infection, they were unable to confirm any details without risking patient identification. However, the infections are not linked to Covid-19 or any of its variants.

McGough, an alum of Stanley County High School and Northern State University, spent 39 of his 46 years in education in Miller, where the Rustlers had success in conference, region and state. In 2002, McGough was named as the South Dakota High School Coaches Association Cross Country Coach of the Year and the NHSACA Circle of Champions Coach of the Year.  He has served for years on the Cross Country and Track and Field Advisory Committee of the SDHSAA.

New Holyrood MSPs to take oaths in Scots, Gaelic, English, Urdu and Zimbabwean Shona © DCT Media Kevin Stewart, MSP for Aberdeen Central, will recite his oath in Doric. On Thursday all the newly elected MSPs will take their oaths or affirmations at Holyrood as they are officially sworn into the Scottish Parliament. Taking the oath or affirmation is the first thing all the MSPs must do before they can start their parliamentary business, and although it officially has to be done in English, many are planning to repeat it in Scots, Doric, Orcadian, Gaelic and even Zimbabwean Shona. The oath has members “swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth” and ends with the statement “so help me God”.
