Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Kumasi Technical University offers scholarship to female science students

The initiative is to encourage more females to study STEM to bridge the male-female ratio in the sciences. So far, there has been an increase of 25 per cent of female students offering STEM courses in the university. Event The Vice Chancellor (VC) of KsTU, Prof. Osei-Wusu Achiaw, announced this at the 16th congregation of the university in Kumasi last Saturday where 3,546 students graduated. They included two first-time Master of Technology graduates; 591 Bachelor of Technology graduates; 2,004 Higher National Diploma graduates, 227 professional diploma and 722 ordinary diploma graduates.

John Marfo aka Romeo, pleaded guilty and would reappear before the court presided by Mr Johnson Abbey on March 19, this year. Police Chief Inspector Ruth Gborson told the Court that the complainant was a level 300 student of the Kumasi Technical University. She said on January 17 this year, at about 9pm, while the complainant was returning from lectures, Marfo emerged from a nearby bush, attacked her with a pair of scissors and robbed her of her mobile phone valued at GH¢699.00, GH¢50.00 cash, umbrella, lecture notes and bolted.
