Barrow MP Simon Fell reacts to murder probe into baby death

THE suspected murder of a one-year-old baby boy has been labelled so desperately sad by Barrow and Furness MP Simon Fell. A 37-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man from Barrow have been arrested in connection to the tragic death and since released on police bail. The baby boy was living with his adoptive parents when he died and was still under the care of Cumbria County Council, as per the requirement of the Adoption and Children Act 2002 which states a child must live with their adoptive parents for a period before an application for an adoption order can be made.
