As stated by Detective Sergeant Paul Slater, Queenstown Lakes CIB:
Queenstown Police executed a search warrant at an address in Arrowtown yesterday for property stolen in a burglary earlier this month.
Two people were arrested, and during the search Police recovered the stolen car parts and located more than 200 LSD tablets as well as a small quantity of methamphetamine and MDMA.
A 34-year-old man is due to appear in Queenstown District Court on 26 July facing charges related to burglary, and a 35-year-old man has been charged with possession for supply of a class A drug.
It appears as though the car parts were stolen with the intention of on-selling to members of the public via various channels.

A man is due to appear in court after allegedly jumping on and damaging six police cars in Queenstown.
A police spokeswoman said the 18-year-old man will appear in the Queenstown District Court today after vehicles were damaged at the Queenstown police station yesterday morning.

Basil Walker received 187 votes when he stood as an independent candidate in Invercargill at the 2020 elections.
A businessman who stood as an independent candidate for Invercargill in the 2020 election to campaign against the closure of the Tiwai aluminium smelter has been charged under the Electoral Act. Basil Walter Walker, of Queenstown, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of failing to file a return of election expenses and donations with the Electoral Commission between October 2020 and February 2021. In the Queenstown District Court on Monday defence counsel Paige Noorland said Walker had since filed the outstanding documentation.

A former Queenstown high school student who hung 250 racist posters around Queenstown has avoided a criminal record after being given police diversion and permanent name suppression. The 19-year-old posted the bills on poles, bus shelters and walls between December 2019 and December 2020.
