Mackay Whitsunday youth get a taste of being politicians

Whitsunday MP Amanda Camm said Nikkia Goodall of Mackay, Jessie Borg of Mirani and Dominic McCarthy from the Whitsundays were chosen for the assembly of the 26th Queensland Youth Parliament. “I would like to congratulate the three youth members,” Ms Camm said. “This opportunity allows youth leaders to participate in a six-month program including being part of a committee to propose law reform, participating in community consultations and debating their Bill in a youth parliament.”
