Job Summary:
You will provide technical advice, guidance, and support to a wide range of program design and implementation issues with a focus on larger projects in the area of resilience, DRR and food security in line with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) program quality principles and standards, donor guidelines, and industry best practices to regional and Country Program (CP) teams to advance the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. Your technical knowledge, advice and guidance will contribute to determining how effective, adaptive and innovative CRS’ programming is across the globe.

CRS Sudan is as dynamic and diverse as the needs of the people we serve. Since 1978, CRS Sudan has been assisting the people of Sudan across the emergency, recovery, and development spectrum. Key sectoral areas for CRS Sudan include food security, livelihoods, nutrition, health, peacebuilding, and natural resource management. CRS Sudan has an expanding portfolio of programs crossing the emergency response and resiliency spectrum. Currently, CRS Sudan oversees programming across five Darfur states and the Red Sea.
CRS is looking towards expanding its successful Emergency Response, Recovery and peace building programs to serve the needs of protracted displaced and conflict impacted communities in Darfur. This requires careful assessment of gaps in service delivery, but also, unlocking pathways to resilient IDPs - and host communities to cope with protracted conflicts.
