Oxygen cylinder rates capped in Gurugram, home delivery to cost â¹180 to â¹350
To ensure proper delivery of oxygen cylinders to the Covid patients at their doorsteps, the Gurugram District Magistrate has issued orders to fix the rate of cylinders. Now, a small cylinder (B type) will cost Rs 80, big cylinder (D type) will cost Rs 250, while the delivery charge will be Rs 100.
An individual ordering the B-type small cylinder will have to pay Rs 180 (including the delivery charge) and anyone who gets D-type big cylinder shipped will have to pay Rs 350.
The order is expected to come as a relief to the Covid patients in Gurugram. It is also likely to stop the black marketing of oxygen cylinders.

Haryana government had on Thursday announced several restrictions to control the spread, including the closure of shops by 6 pm and a ban on all non-essential gatherings.
The restrictions came into effect from Friday. All shops will remain closed from 6 pm onward in Haryana from Friday, all non-essential gatherings are banned, anybody holding any function within the prescribed limit will have to seek permission from concerned SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate), state’s Home and Health Minister Anil Vij had informed through a tweet.
The state government had recently capped the number of attendees in indoor events to 50 and that for open spaces to 200. The Haryana government had recently imposed a coronavirus-induced night curfew from 10 pm to 5 in the state after a surge in the cases.

Gurugram, April 15 : Amid a spike in Covid cases, the Gurugram District Magistrate (DM) on Thursday notified self and government-paid isolation facilities that can be used by people with mild and very mild Covid symptoms.
The order lists a total of 17 such establishments - 12 self paid and 5 government paid.
According to the health officials, most of the Covid patients are asymptomatic in Gurugram. To prevent the spread, they have advised such patients to stay under isolation at home.
