Police responded to a gas station in Bells after receiving a call about a disturbance in the parking lot. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office says a teenage girl from Blytheville, Arkansas is believed to have kidnapped an adult woman at gunpoint. Officers say the teen got into the woman’s car, making her drive across state lines into Tennessee, attempting to get to Virginia. Investigators say the girl stopped at this Exxon gas station in Bells, where the victim was able to escape.

The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office says a female juvenile from Blytheville, Arkansas is believed to have kidnapped an adult woman at gunpoint. The sheriff’s office says the girl stopped at a Bells gas station, where the victim was able to escape. The juvenile suspect was injured while attempting to stop the victim from fleeing. The sheriff’s office says the girl was reported missing Monday night. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office, Bells Police Department, Blytheville Police Department, and the FBI are investigating.

(WMC) - Law agencies from Arkansas and Tennessee are investigating an alleged kidnapping. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office said a woman was kidnapped by a teen girl from a medical plaza in Blytheville. The sheriff’s office said she was forced by gunpoint to drive the suspect to Tennessee. Once they arrived in Tennessee, she was able to get away from the suspect. Arkansas law enforcement officers were then able to take the suspect into custody.

U S Marshals: Escaped inmate from Crockett Co sighted in Jackson

WBBJ TV January 27, 2021 JACKSON, Tenn. An escaped inmate from Crockett County has been sighted in Jackson. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Carlos McCoy was spotted near Skyline Drive and Wallace Road around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators say he was wearing a brown, heavy coat and khaki pants. Marshals say he’s 5-feet-11 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and also walks with a limp. He’s bald and has a gray, short beard. If you see him, you are urged to call 911. According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office, McCoy was serving a six-year sentence for aggravated assault on a police officer.
