Health bosses in Croydon are urging adults in the borough to get vaccinated Health bosses in Croydon are urging adults in the borough to get vaccinated against Covid-19 as cases in the borough continue to rise. The increase in cases is not leading to more people ending up in hospital and on ventilation. This is due to the success of the vaccination, Croydon Health Services Trust says. As of Wednesday (July 7) there were 16 Covid-19 patients in the hospital, including two on ventilation. For the seven days up to July 2 there was a case rate in the borough of 174.8 per 100,000 people, up from 90.8 per 100,000 the previous week.
