AEW announced Tony Schiavone is set to interview Sting on next Wednesday’s AEW
Dynamite: Holiday Bash.
On last week’s
Dynamite, Team Taz showed up to talk some trash to Cody Rhodes and AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin. The group went to attack Rhodes, but Sting came out to the stage to hold them off. Taz decided to pull his guys back as Sting locked eyes with Cody, and Allin (who was up in the stands).
Wednesday’s show takes place at 10 pm ET, or immediately after the NBA.

Well, this is the first time I’ve covered ROH live. Fun fact, ROH was the first ever indie show that I saw, back in 2004 as part of WrestleMania weekend. If you’ve got a copy of “At Our Best” on DVD, you’ll likely see me standing by the aisle, like for the wh
WWE SmackDown: Sami Zayn Spoofed The Slammy Awards And It Ended Badly
Sami Zayn spoofed WWE s Slammy Awards on Friday night during SmackDown, presenting what he called the Sami Awards. It started out with Sami presenting a video montage talking about the trials and tribulations of 2002, which focused entirely on himself. As you d expect, all of the awards were slated to go to himself, but earlier in the night, Big E was shown messing with the envelopes backstage and laughing to himself.
Zayn came out to the top of the stage in the ThunderDome during hour number two to start the awards, and the first Sami Award was for Comeback of the Year. Zayn mentioned both Edge and Roman Reigns having great comebacks. However, he added that My name is probably in contention. Indeed, as you d expect, Zayn presented the award to himself.
While things are a bit different than normal, Ring of Honor begins to close out 2020 tonight with its traditional biggest pay-per-view of the year.
Final Battle 2020 will be the first ROH PPV of the pandemic era. The show was taped in advance and is being headlined by Rush defending his ROH World Championship against Brody King.
The ROH Tag Team titles will be on the line as Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham defend against Mark Briscoe & PCO. Gresham is pulling double duty and also defending his ROH Pure Championship against Flip Gordon.
Dragon Lee will defend his ROH Television Championship against the winner of a four-way match from earlier in the night, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett are facing Vincent Marseglia & Bateman in a grudge match, and Danhausen will square off with Brian Johnson. If Danhausen wins, his ROH contract will become official.

Hello Nightly!!!
Tonight, it’s a double header as we take a look at both Survivor Series 2014 and 2015.
Los Matadors vs. The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs. Gold and Stardust vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships:
Pretty good opener.
Better than usual Divas Survivor Series match, but felt like a waste of Paige.
Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose:
Really good match.
This was a match that happened.
Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship:
Absolutely awful. AJ got jobbed out to Nikki in 30 seconds, and it started Nikki’s awful title reign.
