Bail reduced from $5,000 to $770 for West Salem woman accused of imprisoning, assaulting man

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) Cash bail for a 56-year-old West Salem woman was reduced Wednesday from $5,000 to $770 in connection with the alleged kidnapping, imprisonment and repeated assaults of a man for almost nine weeks last summer.

Lori Anne Holton, who had been in the La Crosse County Jail since Jan. 17, faces felony charges of kidnapping, first-degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon, intentionally subjecting an individual to risk/abuse, false imprisonment, strangulation/suffocation, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and theft.
