2020 NCAA DI Men s Cross Country National Coaches Poll – Week 4 ::: USTFCCCA

It was just a few days ago at the Silver State Collegiate Challenge where the Cougars beat the Lumberjacks in a head-to-head matchup that featured not just the top-2 programs from the final National Coaches’ Poll of the 2020 fall segment, but four others as well (No. 4 Notre Dame, No. 18 Washington, No. 24 Weber State and No. 27 Air Force were also in the field). BYU edged NAU by five points as it put four runners in the top-10, led by Conner Mantz’s individual title. This was the second time the Cougars and the Lumberjacks squared off this season. Back in October, NAU won the team title at the OSU Invitational over runner-up Oklahoma State and shorthanded, third-place BYU (It should be mentioned that the Lumberjacks held out a few of their top runners this past weekend, so neither program has seen each other’s full hand yet).
