Ja’Kwan Hale taking over the NJCAA lead in the 400H at an altitude-converted 51.00, while
Denzel Feagin is now ranked second in the 200 at an altitude-converted 20.51 and the duo of
Gamali Felix and
Jevon O’Bryant sit No. 2 and No. 4 on the seasonal chart in the 400, respectively.

Top-ranked New Mexico JC certainly helped its cause this past weekend at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The T-Birds received an improved national-leading mark from
Victoria Villaneuva in the pole vault at 3.80m (12-5½), in addition to a fourth-ranked effort in the 400 from
Maria Simanca (55.71c) and an eighth-ranked heave in the shot put from
Luisarys Toledo at 13.31m (43-8).

South Plains (Texas) and third-ranked
Barton County CC had athletes turn in some big marks this past weekend, too. Camille Lewis (No. 2, 400H) and the 4×100 relay team (No. 1) stood out for the Lady Texans, while
Doane (Neb.) kept its hold on the top spot in the National TFRI. The Tigers snatched one season best at the Bronco Last Chance to add to its haul of top-5 nationally ranked efforts.
Richard Dover improved to No. 3 in the discus with his heave of 51.49m (168-11). He was previously ranked sixth going into the weekend.
Indiana Tech stayed at No. 2 for the third straight week. The Warriors earned three season best efforts that rank within the top-5 nationally at the Pacesetter Sports Invitational.
Jordan Highsmith, already ranked No. 4 on the Descending Order List in the 400, improved his mark to 47.20. Highsmith was also part of the 4×100 that turned in the national leading time of 40.55 and the second-ranked 4×400 (3:13.21).
