The Swedish priests who founded the Mitt Kors (My Cross) movement have launched a crowdfunding campaign which aims to support persecuted Christians by publishing a book containing photos and stories from their campaign.
Three priests from the Church of Sweden - Annika Borg, Johanna Andersson, and Helena Edlund - have set up the My Cross Facebook group after the murder of French priest Jacques Hamel. The page will serve as an avenue where people can share images of the cross and their accompanying stories of what the Christian symbol means to them, Christian Today details.

PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Senator Richard Gordon, announced this in a Twitter post and congratulated the PRC Bio-Molecular Laboratory located in Port Area, Manila.
“This is indeed a significant milestone in the fight against COVID-19, that this lab is the single biggest mol[ecular] lab in the country,” Gordon said.
Inaugurated on June 23, 2020, Gordon said the full capacity of the that the PRC Lab in Port Area is 11,000 tests per day. With an average of 6,200 tests per day, he noted that the PRC Lab has the “biggest output of any single” Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) laboratory in the country.

January is Arkansas’ coldest month, and many Arkansans are using fireplaces and space heaters to keep warm. Josh Egbert, regional communications and marketing manager for the American Red Cross, said there are fire safety tips people should remember when using home heating devices.
“It is that time of the year where a lot of us are turning on our heaters for the first time, maybe starting a fire and using space heaters. We just want to make sure everyone stays safe,” Egbert said.

LEICESTER, United Kingdom – A Catholic Church in the English city of Leicester says it has experienced a “crime wave” after a series of incidents of vandalism.
The Dominican-run church is located in the city’s downtown area and has historically been the center of Catholicism in Leicester.
On Dec. 29, the windows of the church’s Lady chapel were smashed in the morning, and the suspect – who was later arrested by police – shouted verbal abuse at staff members.
