(The Actors Fund) The Actors Fund, which provides a safety net for entertainment industry workers, broke ground Thursday on a $120-million affordable housing project in Hollywood. Scheduled to open in 2024, the Hollywood Arts Collective will include 151 units of affordable housing as well as the 86-seat Glorya Kaufman Theater, art galleries, rehearsal studios, office space for nonprofit arts groups and a new home for the charity s western region headquarters. The project has been a decade in the making and is intended to address a shortage of affordable housing in the area. Staff report Wellesley Townsman Glen Grove apartments at 50 Grove St. in Wellesley is reopening a wait list for rental applications.  This affordable housing opportunity is open to elderly individuals or individuals with disabilities. Eligible applicants will be placed on the wait list in random order via a lottery system. This opportunity is for the wait list only. There are no rental units available now. To apply, you must meet the income qualifications under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Qualified residents may not pay more than 30% of their adjusted income for rent.
