KUALA LUMPUR: A total of RM780mil is being allocated to ensure there is balanced development throughout the country, says

Under Budget 2021, RM780mil has been set aside for five regional development projects in the northern, southern, east coast region including Sabah and Sarawak, says the Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister. The aim is to bring development to the areas, particularly where development is lacking in the industry and manufacturing sectors, said Datuk Lim Ban Hong when answering a question by Datuk Seri Hasan Arifin in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Dec 15).
Lim added that some RM15bil was also allocated under Budget 2021 to develop and improve transport infrastructure.
