PHOTO: ONLINE ISLAMABAD: A signature food festival has brought the culinary creation of master chefs to the people of the twin cities. The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with partners from the private sector is holding the three-day food and music festival titled “Islamabad Taste” at the Jinnah Convention Centre. ICCI President Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan said the event has been organised by following SOPs for novel coronavirus disease. In this signature food and music festival, 60 plus food stalls have been set up to provide different varieties of food tastes to the visitors.

Three-day food and music festival starts

Islamabad March 14, 2021 Islamabad : The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with the Media Sniffers International (Pvt.) Ltd., and Eleven Production has organised a three days food and music festival titled Islamabad Taste here at Jinnah Convention Centre. The festival was formally inaugurated by Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President ICCI and the event has been organised by following SOPs for coronavirus. In this signature food & music festival, 60 plus food stalls have been set up to provide different varieties of food tastes to the visitors. Various government officials and other dignitaries would visit the festival while celebrities and singers including Abrar Ul Haq, Bilal Saeed, Mustafa Zahid and Amanat Ali would show musical performance in the event.

Three die in road accident National March 9, 2021 HAFIZABAD: Three people, including a man and his son, died in a road accident near village Kot Mubarik, Hafizabad, on Monday. Ghulam Abbas, 50, his 12-year-old son Zaheer and another boy Awais, 13, of Kot Mubarik were walking alongside a road when a speeding car hit them, leaving Ghulam Abbas dead on the spot and both the boys wounded critically. The boys were removed to hospital where they died. Three occupants of the car also sustained injuries. Four held with narcotics

Four held with narcotics February 22, 2021 SARGODHA: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four drug peddlers and recovered narcotics from their possession. The teams of different police stations conducted raids within their jurisdiction and arrested 4 drug pushers and recovered 5.290kg hashish from them. The accused were identified as Ghulam Abbas, Taimoor, Rafique Ahmed and Muhammad Akram. Cases have been registered against the accused.
