ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party on Friday said the Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal has exposed insidious accountability of the PTI government.
“The clean chit given to PTI s Zulfi Bukhari, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan is a slap on the face of so-called accountability,” said Secretary Information PPPP Shazia Atta Marri in a statement on Friday. She said it remains to be observed whether the notice of Rawalpindi Ring Road scandal would be taken or not. “The investigation against Zulfi Bukhari, Usman Buzdar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan in the scandal has been wrapped up in the PTI flag,” she said. She said a message is being sent to the bureaucracy by targeting the uninvolved bureaucrats in the scandal and it proves that the so-called accountability is the political agenda of this incompetent government.
