Hardrock Developments’ revised proposals for former Ministry of Defence land in Warminster Road - which would see 70 new homes built - were thrown out last June amid criticism of the lack of affordable housing and parking, and claims the “incongruous, bulky and overdeveloped” scheme would harm the city’s World Heritage Site setting.

Bin bags on railings are making Bath a complete dump , resident says You look at them and you think surely this can’t be Bath
Updated
A resident has slammed what he calls the proliferation of bin bags around Bath city centre.
Dave Workman, 60, took to Facebook to express his frustration and was overwhelmed by support from other residents.
In a post on Tuesday, he wrote: Rubbish day in Bath and the place looks a complete dump. If Edinburgh can sort out the proliferation of black bags why can’t Bath. It’s not difficult - rather than spending cash on nonsense get this cleaned up. Big communal wheels bins, fewer lorries and more frequent collections. Come on - is this really the look we are going for?
