Police have confirmed that a woman in her 20s pronounced dead at the scene, after being hit by a car. A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and the road will remain closed for some time while officers investigate. Traffic remains stationary on the A367, between Radstock and Peasedown St John, and police have urged drivers to find another route .
