Elderly man dies after being struck by train in Winter Park

WINTER PARK, Fla. - A man is dead after officials say he was struck by a train on Wednesday night.
The Winter Park Police Department says the elderly man was trying to cross the tracks at Pennsylvania and Holt Avenue when he was hit.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.
The incident delayed one of the trains that runs between the AdventHealth and Winter Park stations.
