LACE UP THE SKATES Ottawa s four outdoor refrigerated rinks are open for skating. The city says you must book a free 45-minute reservation for a skating time at www.ottawa.ca/skating.
Reservations will be required to skate at the following peak times: City Hall Rink of Dreams, 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily

Thousands of restaurants have opened in Italy in defiance of the country’s strict Chinese coronavirus lockdown regulations. The mass civil disobedience campaign launched under the hashtag #IoApro (#IOpen) has seen as many as 50,000 restaurants opening despite evening curfew restrictions.
Here is one restaurant owner announcing his intentions to defy the lockdown: Italy. 50,000 restauranteurs have decided to open up against Covid19 restrictions, lunch and dinner, banding together to form an alliance. Lace up the skates Outdoor community and refrigerated skating rinks in Ottawa will remain open for skating only, weather permitting. The city is recommending you wear a mask while skating on the outdoor rinks, and maintain a two-metre distance from other skaters outside your household. The Sens Rink of Dreams at Ottawa City Hall is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
