On January 20, NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital celebrated the opening of its Maternal & Newborn Care Unit, designed to enhance the care and comfort of expectant moms and their newborns and provide the best patient experience before, during and after childbirth.

The Fisher-Titus Birthing Center has achieved the 3-star Level in the Ohio First Steps for Healthy Babies Program, according to a news release.
Ohio First Steps for Healthy Babies is a voluntary breastfeeding initiative by the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Hospital Association.
âWe are very pleased to achieve the 3-star designation in the First Steps for Healthy Babies program,â said Alisha Nims, obstetrics manager at Fisher-Titus. âThe recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Birthing Center staff.
