Thursday, September 3, 2020. Saint Vincent s has operated since July 1 without a positive coronavirus case transmission and has earned widespread praise for its success. Seattle is extending its childcare assistance for families in need through March 2021 as the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact thousands across the region. As part of the program, the city will pay 50% of the rest of the copay costs over three months for eligible families in the Department of Education and Early Learning s Child Care Assistance Program and scholarship-eligible children in Seattle Parks and Recreation child care.
