Governor Tom Wolf today announced allocation plans for more than $303 million in federal funds received to support child care providers. SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The United Way of Northwest Louisiana (UWNWLA) is donating 10 sets of books from Dolly Partonâs Imagination Library to head start programs and child-care centers in each of the parishes they serve.
The centers receiving the books in celebration of Read Across America Day include Benton Head Start Center, Brown E. Moore Head Start, Breda Town Center, Red River Head Start, Universal Pre-Kindergarten, Humpty Dumpty Head Start, Bienville Head Start Center, STC Mansfield Head Start, Lifeâs Little Blessings and Webster Parish ABC Head Start Center.
