The three 16 year olds are in Transition Year and they chose Childhood Cancer Foundation Ireland as the beneficiary because one of the team, Jack, was diagnosed with childhood leukaemia when he was three years old.
“I spent three and a half years going up and down to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin for chemotherapy and to say that life was not what every child would wish for during those years is an understatement.”
“However, with all the love, support and help of both the medical professionals and most importantly my family, friends and community, I am one of the lucky ones. I am now cancer free and have been discharged from all medical services for the last few years.”

The Den Christmas Special will air on RTÉ One, and the gang have revealed some of the guest who will be joining them.
Zig and Zag have even teamed up with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for a surprise recording.
Ray D Arcy and Dustin the Turkey have also teased that they ll be mixing the magic of those fondly remembered
Christmas Specials of yesterday with more of the current madness.

Hollywood legend Mark Hamill, Nicola Coughlan and Mundy will join a star-studded Den Christmas Special.
Zig and Zag have also teamed up with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for a special festive recording of the show, which is set to air on Sunday evening.
Although RTÉ has kept most of the details under wraps, it is speculated that they will perform Zig and Zag’s latest song.
The puppet duo recently released a reboot of their classic 1990 Christmas number one charity single for its 30th anniversary, giving it a modern makeover to raise money for the Childhood Cancer Foundation Ireland and Cancer Fund for Children.
