Former auxiliary bishop accused of child sex abuse Bishop Grosz denies ever having abused an individual WKBW and last updated 2021-07-12 18:33:35-04 BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Diocese of Buffalo announced Monday former Auxiliary Bishop Edward M. Grosz is stepping away from active ministry pending the investigation into an abuse allegation. The Diocese says it was notified of a pending action brought pursuant to the Child Victims Act, the victim alleges abuse as a child in 1990 by then-Auxiliary Bishop Grosz. Lawsuit claims boy was abused at St. Brigid s Church in Bergen, Genesee County. Fr. Richard Keppeler is accused of abusing a boy from 1985-1990. Aux. Bishop Grosz is accused of abusing the same boy starting in 1990, when the boy was 15. Grosz denies the claim. Charlie Specht (@Charlie Reports) July 12, 2021
