She’s participating in ballet and swimming and she, with her sister Amelia, were in the DanceWorks Regent production a couple of weeks ago,” Jake said. Evalina’s clean bill of health has let Jake return to racing superstocks after a couple of seasons off. He has more than podium places on his mind and is determined to meet a goal he set more than four years ago of raising $50,000 for the Child Cancer Foundation.

For Yvonne Boyes, the recognition of her many years and contributions towards health in her community has left her flabbergasted .
Boyes many years of service have been acknowledged in the New Year Honours today as she was awarded the Queen s Service Medal for her services to health, particularly nursing and cancer treatment.
She said she was flabbergasted when she found out she was being awarded the QSM.

Two recently announced projects include a new hydrogen offtake agreement with the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG), which will allow BOC to supply renewable hydrogen produced at the HypSA Hydrogen Project in South Australia to customers in South Australia and Western Australia. It will also help decarbonise part of BOC’s argon operations.

Three years ago Elsie Lee, 4, was given a 50/50 chance of recovering from her cancer. When She is not out of the woods yet but her parents now have more reason for hope. She just had her latest six-monthly MRI scan and it showed no sign of cancer. Life returns to normal between scans but the stress started to mount before the date with the MRI machine, for which Elsie had to have a general anaesthetic.
