Narrating an experience from his childhood about a toy setup for planes that influenced him aspire to become a toy manufacturer, the minister said, It is another matter that I don t think I will be able to do it, but I m actively pursuing Airbus to try and get them to come to India to start manufacturing aeroplanes in India .

New Delhi [India], February 24 (ANI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi s repeat gaffe about the need for the creation of Fisheries Ministry drew sharp criticism from union ministers including Smriti Irani and Giriraj, Singh who accused him of peddling lies.
During an interaction with the fishing community in Kollam in Kerala on Wednesday, Gandhi made a veiled attack at the Central government saying no one speaks for fishermen in Delhi. Just like our farmers farm the land, you farm the sea. Farmers have a Ministry in Delhi, you don t. No one speaks for you in Delhi. The first thing I would do is to have a ministry dedicated to the fishermen of India so that your issues can be defended and protected, he said.
Almost 24 years after India got its first guidelines to prevent sexual harassment at the workplace and eight years after the government enacted a law for it, there are few publicly available data on how efficient these mechanisms are, an IndiaSpend review found. On February 17, a Delhi court acquitted journalist Priya Ramani in a defamation lawsuit filed by former editor and sitting member of parliament M J Akbar for accusing him of sexual harassment in 1993.
