November did experience the normal seasonal decline from October, with home sales decreasing 14.5% month-to-month, but that drop was in line with the 12% average of the past five years. In fact, November 2020 broke several records for the RE/MAX National Housing Report, and inventory reached its lowest point since the report debuted in 2008.

Local real estate agents raise $30K to help preschoolers diagnosed with speech impairments

RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan agents recently raised nearly $30,000 to support their preschool program, part of Beaumont Children s Hospital in Royal Oak. The RE/MAX Communication Preschool Program is designed for children ages 3 through 5 diagnosed with speech or language impairments. The program is funded entirely through local brokers and agents annual contributions through the Children s Miracle Network Hospitals. The money was raised during the annual Turn Up The Miracles Radiothon hosted by 104.3 WOMC. RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan served as a sponsor of the event and raised the highest amount of any corporate partner. Despite the challenges of moving donations to a virtual platform, the agents doubled the amount raised last year. Candice Thompson, an agent with RE/MAX First, was the top fundraiser, raising $7,000 during the campaign.

Rite Aid $4 7 Million in Giving to Beaumont Children s

Funds generously donated by Rite Aid and The Rite Aid Foundation recently allowed the Beaumont Children s Center for Exceptional Families (CEF) to expand their therapeutic summer camps, social skills and support groups, as well as add to the outdoor inclusive playground that houses many of these activities. The CEF offers comprehensive medical, rehabilitation, recreational and social support for children with special needs or life-threatening injuries.
