LFC Foundation supports Children s Mental Health Week LFC Foundation, the Reds official charity, is supporting Children s Mental Health Week 2021.
Now in its seventh year, Children’s Mental Health Week, which takes place from February 1 to 7, shines a spotlight on the importance of the mental health of children and young people.
LFC Foundation’s mental health team is virtually sharing top tips for children and families on how best to support their mental health throughout the current lockdown.

In October, LFC Foundation launched a new youth mental health programme in local schools with national children’s charity Action for Children.
This has been highlighted this week as the academy promotes Children s Mental Health Week.
Miss Lambert said: Children s Mental Health Week isn t just a week to explore a hot topic , it s about ensuring that we all have the fuel every day to understand our minds and how to cope in challenging situations. And that we remember how to have fun and re-energise, especially during a draining winter lockdown. Everyone is born with potential and brilliance and as a head I see it as my job to ensure that we all have a chance to live with wellbeing at the heart of all we do.

Both the Burnley Community Kitchen and Burnley Together community hub supported over 200 families during the Christmas holidays and will do so again this half-term in an area with about 7,000 children living in poverty.
