MARTINSBURG â Born and raised in the Mountain State, Karrington Childress said she always knew she would work with children in some capacity, and, while she strives to make that career a reality, she has taken every opportunity available to her to impact those around her in a positive way.
A 19-year-old student at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, with plans to transfer to Shepherd University in the fall pursuing elementary education, Childress said she was always a high-energy and engaged child with a gentle heart and a strong desire to help those in need.
