The former Conservative prime minister faces some difficult questions about his relationship with financier Lex Greenhill and his incredible access to ministers and officials after leaving No 10.
Mr Cameron will be grilled by two separate panels of MPs on Thursday – the Treasury Committee at 2.30pm and the Public Accounts Committee at 5pm – about his intense lobbying efforts.
The former Tory leader has insisted he broke no rules on behalf of the firm – but admitted he should have communicated with the government through “formal channels” rather than via text and WhatsApp.

The prime minister’s new ethics adviser will reveal whether Boris Johnson received any donations that were used to refurbish his Downing Street flat by the end of the month, he has said.
Lord Christopher Geidt, who was named as the PM’s independent adviser on ministerial standards earlier this month, told a committee of MPs today he is “absolutely determined” to publish the delayed list of ministers’ interests – which should reveal whether any donor money contributed to the refurbishment – within weeks.

Boris Johnson s standards adviser has vowed to publish a report on the revamp of the PM s Downing Street flat by the end of May.
Mr Johnson asked Lord Geidt to look into the issue in April, after claims it was initially paid for by donations.
The peer said he also hoped to publish the much-delayed register of ministerial interests, which would include any loans the PM received.
He told MPs he would be prepared to resign if his advice is ignored.
His predecessor, Sir Alex Allan resigned in November after Mr Johnson rejected his findings into alleged bullying by Home Secretary Priti Patel.
