HONG KONG, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government Friday launched three projects aimed at encouraging young people to seek opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
When addressing a ceremony, HKSAR Chief Executive Carrie Lam said the GBA will provide Hong Kong with infinite opportunities and the government encourages various sectors, in particular young people, to participate in the GBA development.
The projects came amid the second anniversary of a national master plan on GBA development.
The projects include a 130-million-Hong Kong dollar (16.76 million U.S. dollars) scheme expected to fund 230 startups and provide incubation services to over 4,000 young entrepreneurs and a short-term program that will allow some 700 young people to experience the process of setting up businesses at GBA bases.
