Moylan shares shipping vehicle weight limit bill with Rotarians

On Wednesday, Sen. James Moylan met with business leaders of the Northern Rotary Club of Guam to discuss a bill that would amend Public Law No. 33-106, which established weight, size and load requirements for shipping vehicles.
Proposed Bill 83 would designate Routes 1, 8, 11 and 16 as designated haul-road highways with higher load standards. It would also alter load requirements on non-haul roads and recognize the use of additional axles on trucks to better distribute haul weight.

Bill Acker, CEO and founder of the Manta Ray Bay Resort and Yap Divers, will award 20 divers working on the frontline to save other’s lives during the pandemic with a free week at the resort.
